4 years under-graduate course by Delhi University

The under-graduate course offered by Delhi University is likely to undergo a huge change in 2013. Another year is likely to be added to the 3 year under-graduate course. The courses of all the three streams will be structured in such a way that even if any student opt to leave the course without completing 4 years, will be awarded a diploma or a lesser degree. This format will also provide a wide scope for students to study different subjects before opting for specialization.

Will this new format be beneficial for students? What are your views?

I think this new format of Delhi University will be beneficial for students as it will not only be offering extensive programs for students but will also be awarding diploma or a lesser degree to those, who will not complete the 4 years course and this is one of the biggest merit of the new format. This is a remarkable initiative by Delhi University and should be adopted by every University of India.
