So, we all are heading towards the celebration of the 69th Independence Day the excitement is nonetheless not less than any other year. Every year we celebrate the day of our freedom with much of high spirit and enthusiasm each one of us is so much moved by this day and why not, after all it is the day when India observed its independence and freedom. India has witnessed a long journey of suppression and exploitation by the Britishers’ but this was completely unacceptable by the true patriots and devotees of our motherland, there had been numerous of great and brave-hearted men because of whom we all are observing a free nation where we all are liberal. We really cannot repay to the courageous endeavours that the great men had put in to liberate the country from the trap of the anarchy of britishers’ but we at least can pay a little homage to all those martyrs who had sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom of the nation. Had they not done that, we would have still been living in a bounded nation. Kudos! to those lion-hearted people who envisaged a bright future for the people of India, who gave their lives for bringing peace and harmony in the nation and who happily crucified themselves to bring smiles on the faces of the future generation. I am short of words and really cannot even dare to explain the greatness of that each and every person who participated in the struggle for freedom. Independence Day is a day to remember those true patriots, soldiers and martyrs whose actions became eternally priceless. I would request you all that do not see this day as a mere holiday but it is immensely an important day for all of us, feel proud, great, glad, free and most importantly THANKFUL to all the Heroes of Freedom Struggle. With the beautiful lines written by Kavi Pradeep ji I would like to end this note
“ऐ मेरे वतन के लोगों ज़रा आखों में भर लो पानी,
जो शहीद हुए हैं उनकी ज़रा याद करो कुर्बानी......”
