Some want excitement, thrill, adventure in a place they want to visit thus following are the six best places in India which would provide a full adventurous trip to you:

Manali

Manali has been one of the favourite places of the tourists especially at the time of summers. This place is a perfect blend of peace and adventure that makes it one of the north India’s most popular tourist points. There is so much fun to do and adventurous activities like water rafting, paragliding, skiing, fishing, mountaineering and hiking. Manali is bordered by cool pine forest and the raging Beas River.

Leh and Ladakh have grabbed a good number of tourists in the recent times as it is being highly loved by the adventure lovers who seek thrill and excitement during travelling. This place offers two of the world’s largest mountain ranges, alpine desert and dry barren landscapes with many ancient Buddhist monasteries. People would find exciting activities like hiking and Para gliding in, trekking, water rafting and travel on Khardung La the world’s highest motor able road.

North East India

A complete paradise for the tourists as well as a place that offers you an adventurous travelling, there are tribes to visit, wildlife to see, peaks, caving, trekking, living root bridges and jungles to spot. There is a whole lot to explore in Arunachal Pradesh, with water rafting, in Assam there is Kaziranga National Park and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, in Nagaland the Hornbill festival and Moatsu Festival are exciting affairs. Meghalaya offers a good range of natural attractions such as peaks views, caves, waterfalls, lakes and living root bridges.

It is bordered by Nepal and Tibet and overcastted by high Himalayan peaks, it offers an abundance of trekking options to the adventure lovers and travellers. The valley of flowers in the Garhwal region is famous trek-spot which is a high-altitude Himalayan valley with about 300 varieties of alpine flowers. Nainital has got less strenuous trek and offers Lake Views, nature walks, horse riding and rock climbing. Corbet National Park in Nainital is itself an exciting place to visit. The adventure, thrill and excitement offered in Goa is unlimited as it is full of varied water activities and sports; go-karting, scuba diving, snorkelling, hiking, fishing, dolphin spot, Para-gliding, long drive on bikes and sightseeing trips are no less to fill you with high spirits. There is a trekking program organized by the Hiking Association in every October every year that can be a good option to do.

This is a traditionally and culturally rich place but what is exciting and adventurous to be found here is the desert camel safaris offered in and around Jaisalmer and Bikaner. And also the Hot Air Balloon Ride around Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park is an attraction for tourists in Pushkar.

There is no doubt in saying that India is the “Land of Varied Travel Destinations”. So in addition to the various in-land travelling spots, I would suggest everyone to take an initiative in visiting Lakshadweep Island at least once in their lifetime. It is a place primarily concerned with the water sports which indulge scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride tours, parasailing and many more. Lakshadweep is the only island where you can find coral reef formation. It is a deliberate place of serenity where you can find the ultimate blend of nature and tranquility. Apart from these, there are various islands like Minicoy, Kavaratti, Bangaram and Kadmat which portray the real essence of a traveler and tourism.

India is a vast nation and I am sure it is one of the most chosen travel picks for travellers around the world. India is like a book which you read everytime to discover a new side of it. Hence naming few places which defines India is a tough job. But when the word adventure comes into mind, it reminds me of the “Yoga Capital of India”, i.e, Rishikesh – the land of spiritual divinity. Today Rishikesh is considered as the world capital of many water sports like rafting and kayaking to bungee jumping and cliff riding and much more.

My definition of adventure is not only restricted to outdoor activities. I believe that the journey towards finding ‘self’ is an adventure too. This explains my vote for the same for Rishikesh because of its serene nature which is a delight for peace lovers, culture-explorers and meditation practitioners; and at the same time Rishikesh is one of the best places for experiencing adrenaline rush.

Adventure is everything which we do with full excitement, courage and joy without thinking about the result. The high adventure bases show your out doorsman skills in different climates throughout the trip.
Mnali:
This place is an adventure-seeker’s and nature-lover’s delight. Gorgeous trails through pine forests, apple orchards on the way and the incredible view of the Himalayas is really exciting.
Kaziranga park:
Assam’s National Park has more than 2,000 rhinos and you can take a jeep safari or an elephant-back ride into the grasslands to spot them. The park is also a home to a large breeding population of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer.
