Once a poor kid who used to sell bread for earning some penny, gathered coal from the streets so that his mother could cook food is now an engineer and the founder of ‘Help Our People for Education (HOPE) Bahuudeshiya Sanstha’. Amol was born in Rajura Maharashtra, he lost his father at the age of 8yrs and to help his mother and his three sisters he began selling bread, he also used to change tyres of cars during his vacation so that his family can get some money for the survival. After a struggling time he succeeded to pass his 12th standard and firmly decided to do bachelor in Engineering and after seeing his determination and passion to study his school principal and two teachers supported him financially to pursue engineering.
He successfully completed his graduation after which he worked in Uganda and Dubai for some time but his heart was always beating for his native place and his country. He was a veteran of life’s struggle and he knew that what problems his other native people must be facing, thus he decided to help the young people to make their future better and finally in the year 2007 the idea of establishing HOPE, nurtured. Amol today is helping many young people to become engineers, doctors, chefs and even IAS officers. He has extensively visited many villages of Maharashtra where he has surveyed over the problems of the people related to electricity, education and technology.
The team of HOPE is persistently trying to help the people of various villages of Maharashtra such as distribution of ‘Vidya Lamps’, installation of solar-operated water system to provide safe drinking water and others. Lonewadi is the village that has been under constant support of HOPE, but still there are many other villages where HOPE aspires to bring betterment.
Amol is a strong believer of the vision of Swami Vivekananda and Dr APJ, he has a great vision of seeing his motherland developed and flourished. He believes that the rural India is the heart and by providing urban amenities to the rural areas we can envisage development of our country. So he wants to empower the villages of India and aspires to make each village of India as an Aadarsh Gaon. Great thinking!! Amol may you become successful in your efforts...
