He firmly believes that life is too short to be brood and rude so one must be happy always. He is Pravin Tulpule popularly known as Pintoo—the clown magician. He is an ex-officer in the Indian Navy where he served for long 17 years and got retired as Lt. Commander Communications Specialist. Magic has always been his passion he used to practice magic tricks by reading magic tricks books he presented his first magic show in front of his family. Later during his college and working days he was popular as an entertainer who would use his magic tricks to fool the audience in front of him. In 1995 Pravin joined the society of Indian Magician in Mumbai where he got to learn and enhance his magic tricks but there he did something different. Instead of presenting himself as purely a magician he chose to add a different get up to his persona. He added a get up of a clown and showcased his magic tricks so that his audience could laugh as well as feel amazed at the same time.

Pravin Tulpule has a special love for kids and he has given a new direction to this love. He has become children’s favourite Pintoo uncle who makes them laugh and surprises them by his magic and gleeful acts. He now conducts clown-magic shows especially for the children who are vulnerable belonging to homeless, unprivileged and down-trodden classes. These shows are absolutely free for children, and organized by different NGOs. He goes to the NGOs, hospitals and even performs in open, exclusively for children. Once while performing his show Pravin got to meet Shweta Chari of Toybank and she was so impressed with him that today Pravin Tulpule is the mascot for Toybank Initiatives. His own kids Shruti and Malhar are also a part of the efforts even they also sometimes visit with him for the magic shows.

He has also conducted many hygiene related campaigns in different schools, while focusing on the importance of washing hands that is conveyed to the children through the way of his magic tricks. He also encourages people to donate blood to the needy he himself is a regular donor of blood and he does all this through the medium of his magic shows. Pravin says that he feels the best and enjoys when there are shows in the paediatric wards of hospitals where children are fighting against diseases included cancer also. He is utmost happy when surrounded by children, he makes them laugh and shows them magic tricks which leave the children completely surprised. And those wide eyes opened with surprise and beautiful grins are exactly what Pravin wants to see and promote. He is certainly made his life into a purposeful life.
