Medical sector of our Indian Infrastructure is a wholesome area that certainly needs a separate attention. It is the area of the infrastructure that has not been handled with honesty and transparency. There is a big gap between the facilities and their distribution in this sector. It is fairly difficult to avail medical facilities and treatments in the public sector/ Government hospitals. There has been a drastic gap increasing between the rich and the poorer section of the society in which the poor people only become the victims of the unfair and corrupted means. This poor public faces a scarcity of facilities and privileges provided to them by the medical sector thus only rushing to hospitals and waiting for long hours and sometimes for months in order to avail the medical treatments and facilities drops in their destiny. In this complicated situation private sector has finally intervened and trying to provide the medical facilities through private hospitals and clinics. But to avail the facilities from such private hospital is not a child’s play.
On the contrary they are much more expensive than the public hospitals and the treatments and medical facilities provided by them are rather beyond the imagination of a poor man. Poor public cannot afford such expensive treatments hence the rich public is again privileged and the poor class is again being pushed in long queues of public hospitals. Besides this, there are many unfair activities do take place in the internal system in which the working Labors/peons tend to steal medical equipments and medicines which are meant to be distributed to the poorer people free of cost. This also hinders the poor people immensely from availing good medical facilities in their own country.
