You've just bought yourself the slimmest, sexiest cellular phone on the market. And now you can reach your friends, family and even your enemies -- anytime, anyplace. But are you giving good cell? Or are you making those around you crazy with your annoying chatter?

1. It is generally considered rude to use a cellular telephone in a restaurant; certain situations unfortunately call for it.

2. Studies suggest that driving a car while speaking on a cellular telephone may cause ones chances of being involved in an automobile accident to multiply as much as tenfold.

3. Using a cellular telephone while on an airplane may cause your voice to be heard in the headsets of the flight crew. It is therefore vital to refrain from using a cellular telephone while airborne unless you are attempting to provide important information to the crew.

4. Switch it off during meetings or keep it on vibrator mode.

5. Don’t have an irritating ring tone.

6. Use a cell phone for convenience and not to show off.

7. Don’t carry cell phones to places like a club.

well i myself do practice some of those good cell phone etiquettes but there are still people who do not practice these etiquettes. avoiding use of cell phones while driving or while during meeting or also in hospitals should be avoided as this may cause distraction and irritation to people at such sensitive places.

india is growing with people owning cell phones and since the handsets are available at cheaper costs everyone owns a cell phone. in such a case practicing good cell phone etiquette would ease the problems which arise due to use of cell phones in busy places and restriction areas. many of the people are unaware of the problems they cause due to use of cell phones to others and so these should be well practiced.
