Auli, located in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand and is a World famous skiing destination. It is situated at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level. This is an adventure destination and is one of the most coveted destinations of ski lovers. The best time to visit this place is between late November and March. Auli organizes International skiing festival and ski lovers from all over the World comes here to participate in the championship. It is not a very famous destination but a major destination for winter sports.
