Banaskantha is a pilgrimage destination and is well known for the Ambaji Temple and the Balaram Temple. The Banas River flows through the place and it falls in the state of Gujarat. The place is also affluent in vegetation and tobacco, castor oil, bajri and psyllium are some of the major vegetation of the city. The city is an emerging industrial town for featuring textile mills and minerals industry. The major attarction of the place is the Ambaji Temple. which is one of the 51 Shakti Piths.
