Computers require antivirus or internet security software in order to prevent any malware or virus corrupting the computer database. There are number of antivirus products available in the market. Most of them are available in free version i.e. trial version. One needs to choose carfully as to which suits best to their PC requirements. Here are few PC Antivirus Softwares which you can choose from:

In case of Antivirus, i'd go with Kaspersky. It is best at detecting viruses in your PC. Although the internet security version of Kaspersky gets a little heavy, the antivirus version does serve better. Since there are no additional programs like firewall, antispam, antispyware included, kaspersky antivirus runs moderately smooth on the PC.
 
There are several brands of antivirus available in the market. They can even be downloaded for free from the internet but only the licensed versions provides complete internet security along with security from virus that might attack the PC and affect the important data stored. I personally prefer Quick Heal antivirus. However, Kaspersky and Norton are good too.

However, I personally prefer Kaspersky as it offers complete internet security not only from viruses but also from malwares and spywares. Kaspersky is the best and I have been using it from quite a long time and have been highly satisfied.
 
Antivirus is a basic security software that protects the PC viruses and other malicious threats. It also protects the PC from new or unknown threats and the best antivirus is Kaspersky. Earlier Norton was the best but now the hackers have become well versed with it. In my opinion, Kaspersky is the best antivirus and comes with various protection features.
 
I agree that Kaspersky antivirus is now among the best antiviruses available. Quick heal is another one which is safe and comes with some good features, which protects the computer from various malicious threats like viruses, sypware, malware and rootkit. It also protects the computer from other threats that might infect the computer through external devices.
