Someone was stuck in a railway station. And waiting for a bicycle to carry him to home located at a distance of 20 kilometers as no motor vehicle was allowed to move.
A rickshaw puller could not move out of home and earn his daily wage.
Another man had to solemnize his marriage ceremony without any guest as no guest could come due to the bandh.
Yes, millions of such incidents happened on the day when a Bharat Bandh was called upon by some political parties. The political parties have no right to harass the people of India who are already harassed by price rise.
They parties should know that such a bandh cannot compel government to take some actions against price rise. The parties need some different modes of protest.
A major city like Delhi may not be badly affected by this bandh. But many parts of India were severely affected. Life came to a standstill. In some parts of India, bandh has become a habit. Any organization on any occasion call for Bandh and harass the people. The bandh has become a medium to make a political platform.
The people don’t come out during a bandh. It does not mean that they are supporting the bandh. They don’t come out because of fear. The moving vehicles are pelted stones by bandh supporters. Vehicles are set ablaze.
And political parties proclaim that the people did not come out in the bandh as they support their cause.

Maybe it would help if we protested against these bandhs by coming out for a change. That'll show them we aren't cowards. That might also probably lead to a riot, but at least it'll be known that 'people' don't support the bandhs of political parties, and that hopefully will stop future Bharat bandhs. The political parties organize such bandhs only for publicity and votes. We are responsible for everything happening around. After all, this is a democracy and the people should rule.
