Arunachal Pardesh is known as the land of rising sun and Bomidila is a beautiful town situated in the West Kameng district of the state. The town of Bomdila is situated at an altitude of 2217 metres above sea level. The town is a prominent Buddhist center as it was ruled by the Tibetan rulers for quite a long time. The town attracts a lot of tourist as it is a gateway to Tawang, the most coveted destination of North-East. The town offers captivating landscape of the Kameng Valley and the apple orchards adds more beauty to the town. Bomdila is inhabited by the Monpa and Sherdukpen tribes and Buddhist Gompas are a major tourist attraction.
