Malgudi Revisited is a book by Abhilash Vijayan. The book is a collection of short stories. The book has 27 stories relates to people from every walk of life. The book has stories where some relates to social challenges of caste and class, women’s rights and empowerment, friendship, love and some to freedom and the need to exercise it dutifully, a passion for living versus a passionate living, hope, reformation and transformation, human shortcomings and weaknesses. The book is a good depiction of Malgundi and the stories have good morals. The stories that are plotted can be related to real life.
