According to a Nasscom survey, the strategies of Business process outsourcing (BPO) companies are changing. They feel, moving towards rural areas of India and acquiring human resources would help them cut down cost of land as well as in terms of salary payment to the workers. But if this comes true, our rural india would surely witness a revolution. Many people would be employment who no face the brunt of unemployment and poverty inspite of their education.
 
This is really a positive move from the BPO companies. A move which can bring about drastic but positive changes in the living of rural India. What government has failed to do, will be done by the private sector and yet again it is proven that there is dire need of expansion of private sector in India to help improve the infrastructure and various processes in public domain.
 
The BPO industry is expanding its wings from major cities to small towns and now they have even reached the rural areas. BPO's are creating job opportunities for people and is helping in reducing the unemployment problem in the nation as well as it is contributing towards the economic growth of the nation. It will also help in developing the rural areas leading to overall development of the nation.
 
Some of the giant It companies are moving towards Rural areas to set up BPOs. The concept of outsourcing business came to India with the coming of BPOs. Outsourcing to India was cheaper however, with time the cost is increasing with the high inflation and for this reason, BPO's are moving to rural areas as the cost is still quite cheaper in comparison to Urban areas. Moreover, expansion of BPO industry to the rural areas is increasing job opportunities in villages and helping in reducing the unemployment problem of the nation.
 
The IT industry in India has opened several employment opportunities and BPO being a part of the IT industry has employed many individuals and now that BPO's are moving towards the rural areas is a great step. This will not only create employment opportunities for rural people but will also help in development of the rural areas in India. This will as a result help in economic as well as overall development of India.
 
BPO's have changed the concept of India's IT industry and have brought in a huge change in the nation. Owing to the increase in BPO industry in India, it has become one of the major outsourcing country of the World. However, now, The BPO's are moving to the rural India, which will help in development as well as will provide more and more employment opportunities in these areas, making India a progressed and developed nation.
