Can Indian women smoke ?

firstly, i think this is a really dam question.India as far as i know allows smoking and drinking. So any person be it male or female is free to smoke and drink.And as for the part where people stare at her, common guys plp cant stop gawking at uncommon things esp in india where very few women smoke. Personally i think smoking and drinking is disgusting and ruins your life(and i make it a point to STARE at plp drinking and smoking in public).Its nothing cool, destressing or manly or watever...so guys pls drop it and gals pls dunt even think abt it.
 
What stops Indian women from smoking if they can manage to purchase something to smoke? In rural India its not so uncommon to see women smoking, ...

i say that smoking is not good for both men or women . But as per our culture women are bounded to some culture or its the women in there family are given more importance when a family is consered. Women are treated as GOD in some parts of our country, so i think women or girls need be or go according to our culture.

It is true that people in India stares at a woman or a girl smoking in the public as if they have seen an alien. However, it is completely the personal choice of the girl who prefers smoking. Nevertheless, I am not much in support of smoking of both men and women as it is injurious to health and especially women because it can cause a lot more harm to the body of a woman than that of a man. However, smoking and drinking are personal choice.
