Chaukori is a Hindu pilgrimage destination in Uttrakhand, as it hosts several temples of religious importance. It is a small town in the Pithoragarh district as is situated at an altitude of 2,010 m above sea level. The town is situated in the Himalayan Range and is enclosed by forests of pine, oak and rhododendron.
