Chitradurga a hamlet also known by the names of Chitradurg, Chitrakaldurga, and Chittaldurg is situated in the state of Karnataka. The place is enclosed by rock hills, valleys, and towering boulders of numerous shapes. The hamlet is also known as the Stone Fortress or the Kallina Kote. The place has a rich historical significance and finds mention in the great epic Mahabharata.
