Yet another corruption charge has been faced by Congress. This time it is the Law Minister Salman Khursid who is alleged by a news channel recently of indulging in corrupt activities of cornering funds that was meant for physically challenged. The allegation is that Khurshid's Trust has forged stamps and signatures of senior officials in the state. This is really a matter of shame that the Law Minister of the country is involved in corrupt activities. If such is the condition of the country then how can we expect a corruption free nation? Where is our country heading?

Corruption has become part and parcel of Indian politics. It is no shock that another minister from the Congress is alleged with corruption charges. With this corrupt politicians, our nation is heading towards a very bad condition and if this continues, we can never expect a corruption free nation. However, we should be grateful to the news channel that brought out corruption. If media becomes responsible then perhaps we can expect a corruption free nation.
The present UPA government is full of corruption and every politician seems to be corrupt. It is no wonder that Salman Khursid is involved in corruption when the whole Government is corrupt. With such corruption, India can never become a super power or even a developed nation. It is shame that even our Law Minister is involved in corruption.

now the case raised several questions. the main source of information here is the letter written by social welfare and justice ministry to the uttarpradesh govt. it is a govt. official letter. how come media got it? are govt. official, confidential letters leaked in the media this way ? is this the usual procedure?
are all the forged signatures and seals sent to forensic lab for verification and the lab confirmed the forgery? this is the usual procedure of proving forgery. i don't think that the signatures and seals were ever tested by handwriting experts. if so how trustworthy those evidence are?
if those signatures are not forged then how sound the claims are?

Rs. 71 lakh was given to zakir hossain memorial trust run by salman khurshid to buy cycles, crutches and artificial limbs for the disabled people. those equipments are never bought. evidences of this allegations are :
zakir hossain memorial trust was given Rs. 71 lakh to buy equipment for disabled people in 2010. the usual procedure is that first the DM would be informed and then the welfare officer of the district will send his schedule and then a camp will be organized from where equipments will be distributed to disabled people. but actually what happened is that the forged signature and seals of the officers are taken on paper and camp was never organized. no equipment was given to the disabled. and Rs. 71 lakh was misappropriated.
the letter of Mrs. luis khurshid told that camp was organized and equipments were allocated. the documents and signature of district welfare officer was forged. even the letter from CMO office had a forged signature on it.
a letter written to the uttar pradesh govt. by social justice and welfare ministry in MAY 2011 statng that zakir hossain memorial trust should be investigated in 17 districts for the mischief. but the uttar pradesh ministry did not do anything.

In my view, Salman Khursid is really guilty and this is clearly visible with his reactions. It is sad that even the Law minister of the Nation is corrupt and with this we can very well guess about the law of the land. The UPA government, if they want to remain in power should appoint new ministers and make sure that corruption comes to an end soon and help our nation progress and develop.
