"Dedh Ishqiya" is yet another fantastic sequel comedy thriller of; "Ishiqya" released in 2010. Dedh Ishqiya is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and starring Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Huma Qureshi; the star cast is itself very compelling and makes you glued with your theater seats. The much influential Urdu Poetry is a real treat for your ears. However the story becomes much predictable in the second half but Babban (character played by Arshad Warsi) and Khaalu (Naseeruddin Shah) leaves no scope for boredom in the whole movie. Huma Qureshi has done a justice to her role while Maduri Dixit Nene is the show stealer in her role of Para Begum, her vivacious acting and mesmerizing dance moves have again stolen many of the hearts. Story-line is little weaker in comparison to the previous Ishqiya but audience cannot be too much judgmental when Para Begum and Khaalu blossom the flowers of their old flourished romance in the story. Nevertheless, audience would always love to watch the amazing chemistry of Babban & Khaalu for many more years.

There are nawabs, sher-o-shairi, and a courtly old-world romance but make no mistake, this is a twisted theatre of the absurd in which the gamut of human folly - greed, decadence, deceit, stupidity - is laid out for us. Once again, Abhishek and co-writer Vishal Bhardwaj find the vein of humour in the darkest situations, including a stand-off in which many guns are pointed at many heads.
It amongst the Best Hindi Videos made so far, The performance of the cast , Madhuri, Naseeruddin and Arshad Warsi is commendable
