Do You Think AC Coaches are Safer for Women?

Most of us believe, even me, that AC coaches are safer to women to travel in. BUT! Not every women can afford to travel in AC coach. I feel AC coaches offer not only safety but also comfort while traveling and i think such safety and comfort should be provided in Non AC coaches too. How do you think travel can be made safer for women? Just traveling in AC coaches cannot be a solution for all, since all the women are our priority.

Traveling even in AC coaches are also not safe now-a-days for women. Infact these coaches are more unsafe as they are closed completely and most sexual assault on women take place in these AC coaches. Traveling is train should be made safer for women in all kind of coaches as it is not possible for everyone to travel by air. More security for women traveling in trains should be provided by the Government. What do you think?

But i feel that AC-Coaches has another guard who takes care of providing the basic amenities to the passengers. And people without reservation are not allowed in AC coaches so the menace of unknown people getting on to the coaches is avoided here. I think such a system should be passed onto the normal sleeper coaches as well. But before that, government needs to fix the problem of waiting list passengers who are huge in numbers, who give the chance to the menace makers to mix along with them.
