Both Facebook and Google are different entities with their business set up also being slightly different in mode of working. Facebook offers social networking platform and advertisement channel service where as Google is a powerful search engine, infact it has become synonymous to the word "search engine". It also offers social platforms like google plus and advertisement services Google Adwords. However the growth of the company as such seems to be high in case of Facebook which is 25% annually. Analysts speculate that Facebook would beat Google in a decade from now on. What are your views on this?
 
Currently Facebook is more of social networking site and has a long way to go before it becomes a full-fledged search engine.
As for Google, it is the numero uno search engine and hope it stays so.
However, nothing is impossible and the two giants might even come together and generate something extraordinary.
