Globalization

The global middle class is expected to swell by more than 1 billion people over the next decade, with the biggest increases in China and India. While millions are being lifted out of poverty as a result, the booming middle class is also consuming more global resources. As a result, prices for everything from steel to gasoline to food are soaring.

Globalization is eventually leading to improvement in economic conditions of various nations and even India in our case. The per capita of people living in urban areas is drastically increasing and so the consumption pattern of goods and services has also increased. If India fails to reach the rural parts and bring them the needy changes, there could be a very unbalanced situation.

Globalization is a never ending phenomenon because resources need to be mobilized as demands and productivity (supply) do not go hand in hand. With globalization India is achieving self sufficiency in technology, marketing strategies, and good amount of foreign income by allowing foreign companies to set up their plants here.
