Hampi is one of the most popular tourist destination of India located in the sate of Karnataka. It is a small village amidst the the ruins of the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, Vijayanagara. The place has been declared as the World heritage, especially the Vittal Temple and other ruins of the town of Hampi. The place is a popular heritage destination and the town is a major destination of the archeologists for its historic significance.The Virupaksha Temple is one of the oldest monuments of the town and is one of the most popular tourist attraction.
