Harihareshwar is a pilgrimage destination situated in the coastline of the Arabian sea in the state of Maharashtra. It is small town surrounded by the beauty of the nature which is defined by hills and beaches. The place has a rich history associated with it as it was ruled by the Peshwas. The place celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and Maha Shivaratri festivals with great pomp and show. The Harihareshwar Temple is visited by many pilgrims in and around the state and is one of the most important temples in the town.
