Many of the NRIs would be having this question lingering in their minds. Well. NRIs can invest in mutual funds because mutual funds are nothing but a collection of bonds/shares therefore anyone can venture into this and get hold of desirable number of shares upon investment.

NRIs can invest in mutual funds, infact the ceiling for NRI investment is just 2 percent below the ceiling of local citizens. Apart from mutual funds, NRIs can also invest in direct shares/debentures in the company. However the percentage investment does vary from FII to mutual funds investment.
