It has been observed that most of the foreigner tourists come to India as this is the world’s safest country. As per the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report of 2007, India ranked 6th in the terms of price competitiveness and 39th in the terms of safety and security. How far is it true? After seeing the Mumbai terror attacks and other terrorists attacks in last few years in J and K as well as the most visited tourists places such as Delhi and Mumbai, Do you think it is still safe to travel to India from the foreigners point of view?

India is very much safe for the tourists. One cannot point out on the safety of India looking at the terror attacks which are quite unusual. The domestic violence and crime is much lower compared to those of big cities of foreign lands. India stands high above many other nation in terms of hospitality and grace that it bestows upon the foreigners.

There is no denying the fact that India is the safest place to travel without any hassles but still there are states like Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Ladakh and many more that are not considered as good and safe from eh traveling point of view. India is the most safest place but these places create a feel of terror among people across the nation and world.

Before answering this question I would like to ask you all one thing that tell me anyone place around the world which is safe for people who live i that place or have come from another place. I guess there is no such place which is safe for anyone. It is we who have to protect ourselves from any danger. India is indeed a safest place from the tourist point of view but you also have to be vigilant what and who are trying to follow you or trying to loot you for any reason.
