How Should Government Tackle Rising Prices of Food Grains?

Due to inadequate rains and various other reasons the yield of food grains is not sufficient to meet the demands of people. This is leading to rise in prices of food grains, especially that of rice in the past. Since food grains as that of rice are becoming costlier, even the basic food is seeming to be costly to the common man. How do you think government should come out with a plausible solution to this?

The price rise in food grains are becoming a major issue for everyone, especially the people from the economically backward section of our society. This problem of scarcity of food grains owing to the lack of sufficient rainfall should be tackled by Government by increasing the productivity and this will be possible by adopting advanced agriculture technology. Another important thing is that rainwater harvesting should be adopted, which will help in increasing the productivity even if there is no adequate rainfall. These methods will help in reducing the scarcity of food grains as well as help in increasing productivity.
