Illiteracy is one of the social issues of India that needs to be dealt with utmost seriousness and should be eradicated from the nation as soon as possible. The Indian government is although making its sincere efforts to bring literacy in India at large but due to the other menial social dogmas related to the women, the literacy rate has not been able to be raised up at the large scale. This is an irony of the Indian society. Nevertheless the Youth has also a big role to play in this regard. Since the youth of India is tremendously innovative and awakened, it can commence various roles at the different levels to uplift the status of literacy in the country. First all of the youth can spread awareness for education in the society as they can initiate awareness programs or campaigns at their own school and college levels. They can volunteer in the educational programs run by many NGOs which are working to spread education among the under-developed and illiterate people. Giving free education would be a very noblest act on the part of the youth. The youth should also focus upon the literacy of women in our country. Our Indian society needs to be motivated for raising literacy among its women's section/population. Literacy is a way to success and development of the nation, and the youth fully understands this fact in the present scenario. what are your suggestions for the youth in order to eradicate Illiteracy from India?
