The Immoral Traffic Act (Prevention), 1956 deals in women the prevention of flesh trade and prostitution in all its types and methods. This act intended to restrain and eradicate traffic and prostitution of women, children as a structured way of income. How far you think this act is effective and can stop it?

Well, i never knew this act ever existed. Now we know for the fact that the act was introduced in the year 1956 and yet we have rampant flesh trade taking place across various parts of India. We do have provisions and acts to carry out necessary proceedings after a subject is being charged with crime, but we do not have adequate combat forces who can track down these rackets and bust them for once and all.

Sadly enough, The Immoral Traffic Act (Prevention) was enacted in 1956 but the flesh trade and prostitution still continues. This act can be well implemented by making it more stringent and if the judiciary and the law governing bodies of the nation becomes more vigilant immoral trafficking will surely come to an end.
