Indian Independence Day 15 August
Independence Day of any country does not denote any religious festival but the independent existence of it anchored in its age-old beliefs, customs, glorious heritage. Well, independence is not given ever but is earned though blood and sweat. The whole of India devoted itself to the same inhuman struggle to snatch national independence from British imperialism by blood and sweat and finally did succeed on 15 August 1947. Nevertheless, it was dominated by the pangs of partition at the same time. The undivided India was divided into two halves – India and Pakistan. Was there anyway to steer clear of this painful partition? Hardly there was any! The founding fathers of Pakistan movement resorted to violence, intimidation and finally extensive communal riots to have Pakistan. It was replied by same ferocity, even more, by the Hindu and Sikh community.
India's Independence Day 15 August , for that reason, does contain the noblest sacrifices of Indian freedom fighters along with agonies, tears, blood and sweat of countrymen. All these can’t be forgotten even for once and India is not ready to do this blasphemy ever. On each year this auspicious day is remembered with grand celebrations. 15 August on each year is celebrated as a national holiday in the sphere of India and throughout the nation flag-hoisting ceremonies are carried out at the behest of local administration.
It goes without saying that the main event does take place at the national capital in New Delhi under the aegis of the Prime Minister of India. Indian Prime Minister is witnessed to hoist Indian National Flag at the Delhi Red Fort, followed by his/her address to the entire nation. The Honorable Prime Minister is found to focus on the achievements of the country in past one year, significant issues the country is facing up to, vigor of the nation to trounce all nefarious designs of alien forces and need of more development. Tributes to freedom fighters are also paid with greatest veneration.
India proud of her independence !
