Independence Issues in the Modern Indian Youth

We all love independence in life but the modern Indian youth is a little bit more concerned and conscious for their independence. They want to find their feet at an early stage, becoming independent in their perception simply means to earn money and bearing all their expenses on their own. This usually also includes living separate from the family in an independent household. The urban youth is much impacted by this ideology and among the strong followers of this trend. It has been observed that a major number of youth want to get settled/established in their career without wasting their time so that they can become independent as soon as possible. Becoming independent gives them the freedom and liberty to choose and to do the things the way they want, independence gives them the freedom to make their decisions on their own without any interference of the family and other members. The modern youth feels that independence makes them confident and self-reliant and in this, they admit to taking the responsibility of their failure or success on their own shoulders. They are ready to face the consequences and also to cheer for their achievements. This makes them firm and rooted in their inner wisdom and perseverance. A huge section of youth is now moving on this track but it is also not so easy thing in an Indian society where the children are given limited freedom of choices and decision making and where the authority remains centralized in fewer hands.
