India and Pakistan have been rival nations since Independence. However, being neighboring nations and Pakistan once being a part of Great India should finish off all the rivalries and build friendly ties. This will help in ending the issues that are faced by both the nations and many other political and social issues can be resolved. India Pakistan friendship will also lead to ending terrorism.

India has taken many initiatives to improve the relationship with Pakistan but this requires efforts from their end too! India alone cannot establish good bonds with Pakistan. Both the nations should come together and start an initiative to start building the trust factor and this would later on strengthen the bonds between the two nations. Culling out terrorism from roots should also be a common agenda while building the friendship tree.

I agree with you that it was always India who took initiative to build a better relationship with Pakistan but all in vain. Pakistan never showed any interest in improving the relations with India. However, in my view, both the nations should now make friendship in order to sort out the various issues between the nations. The issues such as terrorism and other such issues can be put to an end. This friendship is very important for both the nations to progress.
