According to GSMA which represents the global mobile operators, India would soon become the 2nd largest mobile broadband globally. It is estimated that India would have 367 million mobile broadband connections in the next four years, which is higher than that of US which is expected to have 337 million mobile broadband connections. China is believed to be on the top with 639 million mobile broadband connections. Can India beat China?

I think there are good chances of India beating China. We have youngsters who are immensely interested in Internet and technology and this interest could drive the broadband usage to a higher level. Moreover technology is becoming easily accessible, and more is yet to come after the cable digitization because with cable digitization broadband can be delivered at homes easily and there can be atleast upto 10% increase in broadband usage.

The world of Internet has been explored more and more and India is not lagging behind in anyway. People of almost every age uses internet in India today and for this reason the number of mobile broadband service providers are increasing. It is no wonder that India is heading towards becoming the second largest Mobile Broadband market with its increasing number of users. People today prefer mobile broadband because of it is easy to carry, can be accessed anywhere, it has high-speed and very much affordable.

People in India are getting more used to internet and with advent of the Social networking concept, more and more people have started using internet today. Mobile broadband have become more popular than the other broadband options that are available because of its mobility. Mobile broadband has already captured the Indian Market to a great extent and it is soon going to be the 2nd largest as it more used by people in India to remain connected and updated.
