It is difficult to estimate the total Nuclear arsenal which India witholds. However, from the facts and views aired in the media, it can be said that India would have around 300-400 nuclear warheads by the year 2015. Various missiles like K4 and K15 are under development which have higher capability to deliver payloads at longer ranges. Along with these, we have the Arihant class submarines which are nuclear powered and can carry nuclear warheads such as K4 and K15.
