Indo-Pak Peace-What is Your Take?

There has been no respite for the Indo-Pak disputes. And with concerns growing over the tension prevailing over the LoC between India and Pakistan, a Harvard vigil would be set up as to investigate who first violates the ceasefire. This effort is being put up in order to create peace and harmony between the two nations. There have been many instances where both the countries have exchanged dialogues to improve relations and promote peace, but nothing ever has been achieved. Do you think this tactic would work? What is your take on this?

Winston Churchill once said that it is better to jaw, jaw, jaw instead of war, war, war, that’s what we have been doing. Luckily we have a democratic set up rather than the hawkish military who always want war just to satisfy their male ego. Well we have been keeping peace so far despite intense hate (and hot lead) thrown to us across the border. We cannot reciprocate with hate and fall into their trap. We must make all efforts to maintain peace, because war is the last option. Only if diplomacy fails and falls into the gutter, we can afford this option. The entire world has labeled Pakistan as a failed state, we have offered a helping hand to them many times (remember the Pakistani floods? and the recent avalanche in Siachen?) but they spited us. Cool; let them boil in their own stew. Let us strive for peace as long as it holds. We should always give diplomacy and dialogue first chance. How many terrorist can they send across anyway? How many virgins are there in their version of Heaven?
