Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Government of Jammu & Kashmir has written to Ajit Singh, Minister for Civil Aviation, Government of India to increase frequency of Air India flights to at least one flight per day on Delhi-Leh sector. Furthermore, he has urged private carriers to operate flights on this route after the closure of Kingfisher Airlines, as per The Rising Kashmir report.
