Jhagadia is a historical town and is also known as ShuklaThirth and is situated on the bank of River Narmada and falls in the state of Gujarat. It is located in the Bharuch District and is an emerging industrial town of the state. The town is an important pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Jains and a large number of devotees visits this town all throughout the year. The place features a huge number of temples of both the religion and is also renowned for its ancient temples that dates back to several hundreds of years. Daherasar, Kabirvad, Gayatri Mandir and a Hanuman temple are the major pilgrimage attraction of the town.
