Jog Falls are located near Sagara, Karnataka, They are the highest plunge waterfalls in Asia and the second highest in the world. They are a part of the river Sharavathi, which entirely flows in the state of Karnataka. The Jog falls have a height of about 253 metres (830 ft.). The water comes down in four different falls named Raja, Rani, Rocket and Roarer. Raja being the most voluminous, Rani is the one which flows down quietly, Rocket falls down in narrow jets and Roarer makes a lot of noise as it crashes and joins the Raja fall. The sight is absolutely beautiful and one feels the force and power of nature.
