Kanha is located in Madhya Pradesh, in the Maikal range of the Satpura Hills and is another important tiger reserve of India. This park covers a core area of 940 square kilometres and is surrounded by a buffer zone of 1005 square kilometres, with around 150 villages. The place is famous for safeguarding the endangered species like Swamp Deer. Jungle safari is one of the major attractions of this park. This national park is an adobe for the rare and endangered spices like tigers, leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, fox and jackal. It is one of the major tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh.
