Kanyakumari is situated at the southern end of the Indian Peninsula. It falls in the state of Tamil Nadu and is also known as 'Cape of Comorin'. The town lies at the point where the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Mannar and the Indian Ocean merges with each other.
