Kanyakumari is situated at the southern end of the Indian Peninsula. It falls in the state of Tamil Nadu and is also known as 'Cape of Comorin'. The town lies at the point where the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Mannar and the Indian Ocean merges with each other. It has been a center for trade and commerce since quite sometime and is also a religious and art hub of India. The richness of art and architecture of this town is evident from the architecture of the temples. This place is truly a heritage destination of India that depicts the reign of dynasties like Cholas, Pandyas, Cheras and Nayaks.
