Electricity is one of the most essential needs of the human beings. Without it life certainly seems tough. The invention of electricity had been one of the remarkable one for the mankind so far. But we usually tend to handle this electricity with a careless attitude. In spite of conserving the energy we tend to waste it generally by our careless acts. It is rather the duty and responsibility for each and every member of the country to save energy because it is not going to help anyone else but they only. Without electricity numerous of activities can get hampered.
We do not see the broader picture but there are many works, infrastructural activities, are dependent upon electricity in our country. Big enterprises, institutions, hospitals, and other important organizations deliberately need electricity and above all the common people are totally relying on this. Wastage of electricity may immensely affect the social and economic aspect of the country. In the modern age as the resources seem to get less in such a situation we all citizens should act rationally. May it be our homes, school, workplace and even at the administrative level we should try our best to save every bit of the electricity.
At home electrical devices such as television, washing machine, lights and fans should not be running without any use. Children should be taught to keep a check on the unnecessarily running electricity in the home and their schools/colleges. Switches should always be kept off when not in use. In the daytime one should try to avoid running lights if possible, because there is already so much of day light at that time. If we all at our personal level will keep a check then it will become easier to save and conserve energy. Above all electricity must be saved because in the coming years we might face a scarcity of it.
