Kukke-Subrahmanya is a tourist destination of religious importance in the state of Karnataka. It is small village on the bank of Kumaradhara River and the village is an adobe of an array of temples of different Gods. The prime temple of the village is the temple of Subrahmanya that is dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. The village has several mythological tales that makes it a popular pilgrimage destination of South India. Along with being a religious destination, the place is also blessed with the beauty of the nature which lures the visitors to the village. Some of the important pilgrimage spots include Sri Subrahmanya Swamy temple, Bhairava Devaru, Umamaheshwara Devaru, Biladwara cave, Sri Vanadurga Devi temple, Samputa Narasimha temple, Somanatha temple and Kukke Shri Abhaya Ganapathi etc.
