Kumaon is the best Hill station in Uttrakhand

Kumaon village in Uttarakhand is the best hill station without too many hotels cramped up. Nanda devi peak in distance is simply awestrucking. with the nature unadulterated and many pine trees and hamlets along the way, locals are welcoming and home stays are the best way to discover the surroundings. kathgodam is the nearest railway station. small guest houses are the best for the stay here.

a vacation in hills is heavenly... this is my personal experience....
although i havent visited kumaon village yet, i think it will be a best place to visit with family and enjoying the serenity in the laps of mother nature.
i've read, its a nice place for glacier trekking, wildlife safari and its a holy pilgrim too!!!

The place is nearby to the Himalayan range and one can enjoy the picturesque view of greenery, wildlife and mountain ranges. The place is not much of like a city but it does offer satisfaction to a tourist looking for adventurous and relaxing spot.
