Kurseong is a small hill station which lies in between Siliguri and Darjeeling in the State of West Bengal. The hill station is less known to the people but one of the best hill destination blessed with the beauty of nature. The place is famous for tea gardens, orchid nurseries and hills and is situated at an altitude of 1,458 m above the sea level. Kurseong has quite a few places that interests the tourists and among a few of those include Ambotia Shiva Temple, Gidhapahar Mandir, Eagle’s Craig etc. The view of the Teesta river adds more beauty to the place.
