Kutch is situated in the state of Gujarat and is well-know for its marshy land and is also known as the Rann of Kutch. The land in the area is salty and marsh as it is located in the coastline of the Arabian Sea. The place is a popular tourist destination of Gujarat for its unique topography. Some of the major attraction of tourists are desert safaris by jeep, camel rides, shopping for the unique local handicrafts, and view of the rare wild ass is found in the Little Rann of Kutch sanctuary. The nomadic culture is found in the place and portrays a rich culture and heritage of the state.
