Manandhavady is a small town of Kerala and is a pilgrimage destination of the state. The town is situated on the bank of Manandhavady Puzha River and s famous for the Tomb of Pazhassi Raja. The place hosts several temples, which attracts a lot of devotees from various places in and around the state. The place is also known as Adivasi Autonomous Council and Valliyoorkavu temple is the major attraction of the town. Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Thirunelli Temple, Malakari Temple, Paalamandhapam Devi Temple and Brahmasthanam Temple are some of the other temples that grabs the attention of the pilgrims to the place.
