Military might defines the National Power

For a nation to be sovereign, its military might plays a vital role. Not that it has got something to do in action, but its presence helps create a sense of sovereignty. In India, we have about 2 to 3 percent of GDP being allocated to the Armed Forces. Of which, about 0.6 to 0.8 percent of GDP is being allocated to the Indian Air Force. Do you think the share which IAF gets is fair enough? What is your take on it?
