Mori lies on the bank of River Tons in the Jaunsar Bawar region in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand. It is a small village in the region but attract the tourist for its compelling natural beauty and is situated at an altitude of 3700 feet above sea level. It is part of the Tons Valley and offers a great landscape which comprises of dense forest, snow-capped mountains, paddy fields etc. The pines, deodars, chestnut and jamun trees enhances the beauty of this small village. The village has mythological tales related to it. The village is one of the most popular destination among the adventure lovers as it offers opportunities for adventure sports like trekking,white water river rafting and kayaking. Duryodhana Temple and the Lunagad Creek are other attractions of the place.
