Morni Hills is a hill station located at the Panchkula district of Haryana. It is situated at an altitude of 1220 meters above sea level. Morni Hills is a quite less known place of North India but the calm and tranquil beauty of the place attracts some travelers. This is an ideal destination for nature lovers and is an adobe of a variety of avian species which include Crested Kingfisher, Wallcreeper, Kalij Pheasant, Red Peafowl, Black Francolin, Himalayan Bulbul, Bar-tailed Treecreeper, Grey Francolin and Oriental Turtle Dove. An array of wild animals are also to be found in this Hill Station like boar, hyenas, hare, langur, jackals, sambar and leopards. This is one of the most perfect destinations of North India even for adventure lovers. Trekking and rock climbing are some of the adventures tourists may indulge in.
