Navarasa by Lotus is a collection of 9 stories that are interconnected to each other. The book depicts all the rasas of life that includes humour, love, disgust, heroism, wonder, fury, horror, peace and compassion. The stories has surprises incorporated within them but after reading 2 or 3 stories, the surprises comes as expected. The stories are connected lucidly making the book interesting and one story can be related to the other quite easily. Although the book in some parts looks repetitive, yet if read with no expectation will not live you saddened.
